Mr. Temitope Olusayo

Temitope Olusayo is an accomplished educational leader with almost 20 years of experience in education, including over 10 years at GEMS Westminster School, Ras Al Khaimah, and seven years in senior leadership. Before becoming Deputy Head of Secondary, he served in several leadership roles at WSR, including Assistant Head of Secondary, Director of Learning for Key Stages 4 and 5, Director of Wellbeing and Curriculum Leader.

Having completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), Temitope is an evidence informed leader with extensive experience in school improvement, teaching and learning, pastoral care, behaviour systems, quality assurance and professional development. He has led outstanding academic outcomes, including students achieving first place in the UAE and fourth place globally for two consecutive years. He also led the school’s wellbeing strategy, helping WSR become one of the few schools in the emirate to achieve the Optimus Wellbeing Award.

Temitope is passionate about creating an inclusive, ambitious and nurturing school culture where every student feels valued, supported and inspired to succeed. He believes that strong partnerships between students, staff and parents are essential to developing confident, responsible and successful lifelong learners.
