Mr. Ismail Saidi

Head of Arabic and Islamic Studies

Ismail brings a wealth of experience to his role. Joining GEMS in 2004, he embarked on his teaching journey at GEMS Westminster School Dubai, where he initially served as an Arabic Teacher for the Secondary Section. Demonstrating his dedication and expertise, he later assumed the position of Head of the Arabic, Islamic Education, and Social Studies Department in 2008.

In 2014, Ismail joined WSR as the Head of Department, where he continues to cultivate an engaging and interactive learning environment. He firmly believes in stimulating intellectual growth through collaborative learning, hands-on activities, seminars, and class discussions. Creating a classroom community that encourages exploration, he empowers each student to reach their full potential. Ismail's teaching philosophy revolves around inspiring curiosity, a trait he exemplifies by actively participating in the learning process alongside his students.
